LPU organized a two day fashion event ‘Brand Wagon’ in the campus on 17th and 18th of December 2009. The two day fashion event allowed the biggest fashion brands like JCT, Olega, Neva, Cotton County, K-mark, Duke, Indra garments, Ruko-Tina, Chilly Sources and My FM to flaunt their contemporary products in the university’s campus as well. The event was divided in to two stages, the first day observed an exhibition cum sale that boasted to be the display ground of the most up-to-date collection of the biggest fashion trends in the industry and featured products and clothes designed by the students of fashion technology as well as big brand names. Through various kiosks the fashion buffs were able to enjoy the display of the most edgy designs of the season. Not only this, they were be able to purchase the products which were available for the LPU students at a very cost effective price.
The evening of the second day followed with a fashion show, putting on view the newest designs from the top designers. Ace models and choreographers who have the experience of working in big events such as Lakme Fashion Week, were present to grace the university’s stage.
